“HBIL,” our Real estate and investment division with investments in commercial real estate and other equity investments. The Company 100% owns a 135,000 sqft 6-acre Shopping Plaza in Trinidad  (Shops of Arima), Speights town Plaza a 20,000 sqft plaza in Speights town  Barbados , along with 14 other 6000 – 10,000 sqft main street retail and office buildings that are leased to , service providers, retailers (including Furniture Plus) etc. The company holds a significant shareholding interest in affiliated Real estate investment company Capital Holdings Ltd ”CHL”which is also managed by “HBIL”.  “CHL” 100% owns 3 shopping Plazas in Trinidad,  these include Maraval Plaza, Atlantic Plaza and Valpark Plaza totalling approx. 240,000 sqft of leasable space in very prime locations. “CHL” also owns a fully tenanted 35,000 sqft office Complex on prime land located in the South Coast of Barbados. It owns 85% interest via its subsidiary of Dome Mall a 90,000 sqft commercial facility on 6 acres of land in Warrens Barbados. “CHL” via its subsidiary In Guyana owns 5 acres of prime industrial land located in Houston Guyana. “HBIL” also holds a significant shareholding interest and manages a 60,000 sqft warehousing facility on 2.5 acres of prime highway frontage land located in El Socorro Trinidad.
